One day at Pizza School Afternoon Lesson

The Italian cuisine is rich and varied in all its aspects, but pizza has been its pride and glory through much of its history. Join the fun, learn about Italian traditions and improve your own delicious pizza in Neapolitan Restaurant-Cooking School with rich history in the center of Rome!

Know how to make your own Italian pizza  - both commercially and in a domestic oven
Learn the social influences of pizza and history of the pizza,  which recently celebrated its 100th birthday
Learn tips and traditional Italian culinary methods  from a professional chef
Enjoy a wonderful pizza at the end of the event

What’s included: 2:30-3:00 p.m.: Arrival at Pizza school, introduction to the Master "Pizzaiolo" and tasting of the pizza. Explanation of the importance of the various qualities of flour and their origins. Introduction to the story of the pizza and its evolution and diffusion in the world. Demonstration of the preparation of the dough followed, on the part of the attendants, by the preparation of their own pizza. 
Explanation of the difference between various types of ovens, their construction and characteristics. Cooking and tasting of the pizzas prepared by the participants with lively discussion.
5:30 p.m.: An appetizer (to be decided together) and various pizzas "al metro" (by the meter) 30 cm. x 60 cm. followed by a brief seminar on various drinks to accompany a pizza.
Not included: Drinks, transportation, room and board or any other excursions.
