What’s included:
Visit to the S. Ambrogio Market (10 – 11 a.m.) Situated in the large 1860's building on the piazza Ghiberti and is surrounded by additional stalls outside. Here you will find the full array of fresh foodstuffs to create a real Italian table, from pasta to meat and fish.., and of course lots of fresh vegetables. Many Florentine's come to this market weekly and you will also find clothes and general household goods.

Welcome drink at the Restaurant (11:30 – 11:50 a.m.) Arrival and welcome drink Fragolino at the restaurant Tre Pini. Libero, the chef-owner, will present the program of the morning and split the group into two parts which alternate in the following activities.

Pasta in Tuscan Cuisine (11:50 a.m. – 12:20 p.m.) The first cooking activity we will concentrate on the main specialty of Italian and Tuscan cuisine, homemade pasta (tagliatelle, tagliolini, tortelli with in-season fillings, pappardelle).

Rural Tuscan Soup and starters (12:20 – 12:50 p.m.) The cooking course of the specialties from Tuscan will teach you how to prepare our delicious rural soups, tasty Ribollita or Pappa al pomodoro. Using the precious Tuscan extra virgin olive oil and several special ingredients such as Mediterranean vegetables.
Discover the secret recipe of the famous Panzanella. Learn how to cook delicious sauces with wild boar, early vegetables and chiantigiana sauce. Prepare tasty starters as Tuscan croutons and our tomato bruschetta and Lardo with cavolo nero bruschetta.

Traditional Tuscan Cake (12:50 - 1.15 p.m.) The last cooking activity of our Tuscan cooking course or the “icing on the cake”, we will have fun creating traditional cakes typical to the Chianti cuisine such as Cantucci (a kind of biscuit) served with vin santo (holy wine).
An alternative to the wine selection (at the same time of other activities) Organizing and arranging the ingredients that the chef has put together to prepare for the specialized menu that has been created for preparation according to the customs and traditions.

Highlight lunch (1:30 – 2:30 p.m.) At the end of the lessons the Joy of tasting your creations.

Awarding (2:30 p.m.) Awarding a certificate of course participation and a small cookbook of prepared dishes.
